Ooh. There's an interesting question. Gabriel and Claudia are fascinating in how they keep their own feelings so close to the chest. I don't think either of them much likes this Illegals 2 program and it's possible that Gabriel hates some of the ways he's been manipulating the two of them.

In my head, I like playing with the idea that Gabriel actually adores Philip--like Philip's a favorite and he hates manipulating him via Mischa Jr. etc. I have no idea how he really feels about him, though. And if he did really care about him I don't think Philip knows it.
