I think at this point, of course, with Paige it's just a question of them not having gotten to that yet. If they ever approached her everything would change because they'd suddenly be dealing with Paige the person rather than Paige the abstract child. Whatever her reaction would be it wouldn't be something her parents could completely predict or control. Not only would she be disconnecting the government from the country, but she'd have to come around to a very different view of the USSR than she's had before.
