It makes perfect sense that she's moving in some direction to try to know herself and get control of her life as she sees it, and if it's the New Age way, that's what's most convenient for her. I think Stan's going to be facing the unknown with her soon.
Plus I love the parallels between Paige/Christianity and Sandra/the things she's doing now. They're both looking for some way to feel like they know who they are and have control in their lives. Just as Philip and Elizabeth are in their own ways by connecting with feelings they've intentionally repressed.
