This preview makes it seems like the Jennings will have to go on the run from their own people. And during the previous episode I worked out quite quickly that William would be caught, but I remember how we all speculated it might be Martha.

I didn't think it looked that way. Looked more like they'd just be tensely waiting to see if William gave them up. If he does the Soviets will smuggle them back to Russia.

I actually found Gabriel's final words in the trailer a little ominous and threatening.
But I don't think they actually will be in the episode. It's just the way they've edited it.

Looks like William sacrifices himself, either to stop the Lassa virus transfer or to prevent himself from being captured by the FBI (or both). Pity. I liked him. When he said that he couldn't bring himself to go through with this assignment, I figured that he would do something to derail the virus transfer, but I wasn't expecting this.

I don't think this will be enough to cause the Jennings to go on the run (not with 2 seasons left to go), but it certainly is setting up a major new tension: their undercover assignment was never meant to be permanent. Knowing this, what becomes of their family?

It seemed from the preview he sacrifices himself to prevent himself being used by the FBI--no need to infect himself to keep the virus exchange from happening.

I think Gabriel's just talking about William potentially ratting them out and how that was always a possibility that they'd have to run back home. They've been discussing this possibility all season.

The last ep ended with Philip about to leave for the meeting with William, who we know is about to be taken down by the FBI.

I thought it would be similar to the S1 finale, with Philip almost getting caught, but it's clear that's not going to happen.

I'm sure they have Hans staking out the place and warning Philip in time. Or maybe someone from the Rezidentura (Tatiana!?) realised Oleg has been blabbering...?
