Hmm I'm reading the AV club review and I had the same take as Todd where I think the icicles was a representation of the nostalgia for his childhood and his homeland, how he does miss his 'home' and how he realises he will never go back. But Gen took it as a sign of his continued drifting away from Russia, since all he has are broken memories. It's so cool that it can be understood both ways!!! Which was your take?
