3) The final scene will be up there in my all-time favourite Philip and Elizabeth scenes of the show. Matthew Rhys sighs beautifully. The "Another day" line totally reminded me of like, a Mad Men-esque episode or something?
It was so beautifully done. And so intimate the way they were quiet with each other and just cuddling and talking about home.
1) The shot of Martha on her side of the bed and Elizabeth looking at the place Philip would sleep when he's not with her. That hurt.
I liked that it wasn't the same side of the bed. I guess it's just 50/50 that it could've ended up that way but I immediately felt it as another sign of him always keeping it separate into "this is my real life with my wife" and "this is work and not real."
