Thank you all so much, all of you, for sharing your love for this wonderful show with us over the course of the last six years. Speaking for myself, it's been a special pleasure getting to know many of you (even a couple of you in person!), but even those I haven't had the opportunity to interact with outside of this comm, I have been awed by your insights and amused by your jokes and just generally very grateful for your contributions here.

I expect the comm to fall quiet (as it has tended to outside of the active seasons anyway, at least when Treon and I haven't deliberately pushed it into activity), but I can't imagine why we'd want to take it down, so please feel free to keep posting about the show if you feel like it.

Due to real life responsibilities, even though I've been with the show from the beginning, I have only just now had the opportunity to see the final season.

I'll be going back through the community posts to see what I missed. In a way, it is wonderful to have them now that the show is over ... it keeps me with Elizabeth, Philip, Paige, Henry, and Stan just a little while longer.

I am new on This community, and i know i’m in late, but i discovered “the Americans” only in April 2022.
I’m astonished how much this show is amazing.
I really loved all line, all shots.
P&E…. Never seen such complex characters.
I loved them.
I loved the final.

This show makes me sick… that’s incredible: I’ll miss P&E for i don’t know how long…

I read almost all post in this forum.
I loved read them. I felt like I had friends to talk about the show.
All post were so deep… i could quote hundreds to tell” thank you, i’m with you, i could never show this thought better…”

Probably none of you, or nobody at all, will read this my post, i know!
Anyway, i’d like to say you thank you, thank you very much to share your thougts, comment, point of view.

P.S I totally disagree with who thinks Elizabeth has not heart or she is cold as ice… she shows several time she knows love… in her way…. She loves Philip, the kids, her Country! When she loves, she loves ferociously!
Elizabeth… one of the most complex woman ever!
