Why is Elizabeth still seeing the bearded guy, if they now know he's not working against them?

I was wondering that. Also, does this mean that Mischa Jnr is dead, or meekly allowed himself to be sent home?

I can't imagine that they would kill Mischa Jr. If anything, they'd throw him in prison or send him back to a mental institution.

After this week's episode, I'm actually hoping that he's still around in DC while Gabriel and Claudia figure out what to do with him.

I wondered that too. I think both their honeytraps are going to continue...though I'm not sure why. And I guess they'll keep up with the family too.

Maybe they're trying to get the info on this stuff before it hits the market.

That's a definite possibility. After all the USSR would save a ton of cash if P&E could steal some seed samples and send them back which would save them the R&D costs but also the arm and a leg the US gov't would probably charge in trade negotiations for such disease-resistant wheat.

But looking at real life, did the USSR ever acquire GMO crops? I wish I remembered history better on this issue.
