Had kind of the same reaction to this one as the first one. There were pieces that I liked. The two spy missions worked and brought some new stuff to the table. Those were both very well done and were not what I was expecting at all. The rezidentura part was good as was the FBI part. There were little moments in scenes I found just great. The episode as a whole felt very fast-paced like the first episode... in some ways it felt like "The Clock" in that respect... except that even in "The Clock" they would slow down at times and give us some smaller moments--the long scene in the bedroom where P/E discuss the kids or them staring at their children while they slept. This one felt more like it was setting up future episodes, but other than the great Philip and Elizabeth part at the end, I missed the emotional connections.

Though it was completely great that they showed them calling time after time and that he knew to come home even when she said he shouldn't just by the tone of her voice. Her "you're home" was just perfectly done.
