Treon, this was great! It won't let me comment without an account, so I'll just paste what I had written here:

I liked the way you captured their typical parenting interactions. I can see Elizabeth in there scrubbing the counter as a way to maintain a little bit of control, even while trying to allow Paige this little indulgence.

Once again, Philip had painted Elizabeth into a corner. She says 'no', she'll be the bad mom, leaving Philip to be the hip dad.

Thanks! In the 'question of the week' discussion, I said I don't hear the characters in my head. But then I thought it over, and realized that for some things, like the parenting issue, I do hear them.
