Yuletide 2014

Happy holidays everyone! This year for Yuletide I requested Americans fic. I wound up getting the only Americans fic that was written. It's better than anything I could have hoped for!

Really, it's just a great story that I think everybody will enjoy. It's about Charles Deluth and his relationship with Philip Jennings (aka John Oastley) through the years. I feel like even if the show happens to joss any facts in this story, it will still remain fundamentally canonical in some ways, if that makes sense. Currently the writer is still anonymous, but will be revealed after New Year's!

Enjoy!

This story is awesome! I always felt sorry for Charles on the show because Philip has a few people who know who he really is and Charles just seems to have Philip who we mostly see being annoyed with him. This is such a convincing backstory and it's so great to see what they both get out of the relationship.

An amazing read, I do love fanfiction for this show. Too bad that there are still so few fics, shows how small the community still is after two seasons.
