Okay, I have to ask this: Did anybody else wake up this morning and say to themselves: "It's February today! We are now in the month that there will be new the Americans episodes!"?

I mean, we're still 24 days off, so it's a little silly, but perhaps I'm not alone? :)

No, I have to admit I didn't think about the series today until I got an email from Amazon telling me The Americans season one Blurays I bought last November now have a delivery date. February 14. I am super excited about that.

True! We are also in the month that there will be an official Bluray/DVD set out! February is a good month for this fandom...

(I still think it should have been January on both counts, but I'm taking my fannish glee where I can.)

I almost did - when I noticed it was February, I went "ooh, it's The Americans month! I bet J has set up an advent calender!" :D

It is going to be a good month. Strangely the DVD release date in Australia is the 5th of Feb (not sure why we get it first) so I will be scouring the shops for it this week. I can't wait to see the gag reel and the episode commentary.

I don't exactly notice the date, but I do notice on my EPG how the show is climbing up in the ranks. Slowly but surely until it reaches #1 - and then it airs :-)

Has the UK broadcast date been announced?

I notice that ITV have been reshowing S1, but that usually means that they can go straight into the next series without enough publicity to make people realise that it's a new one...

I have been keeping an ear to the ground on the UK broadcast date, and haven't heard anything. It would be awfully nice for you guys if they did manage to do that!
